Research in the Feline Futures lab incorporates epidemiological study design and statistical methods, qualitative and mixed methods, and survey design. Students will primarily be enrolled in the Population Medicine graduate programs (course-based and thesis-based MSc and PhD) so please check out the program requirements and courses available. Typically, programs will require the following courses: Epidemiology I, II, and III (POPM 6200, 6210, and 6290, respectively) and Introduction to Qualitative Health (Qualitative Methods, POPM 6420). Animal Behaviour and Welfare courses will also be required, if not taken in previous degrees (e.g., Scientific Assessment of Affective States in Animals, ANSC 6720).
